Hanover to underwrite insurance for 1,000 accountants

The Hanover Insurance Group has been selected to underwrite insurance for 1,000 accountants.
The Hanover Insurance Group announced Monday it was selected to be the exclusive underwriter of a national accountants insurance program, providing coverage for more than 1,000 accounting firms.
The Worcester company will provide coverage for McGownanPRo’s accountants insurance program, CPAOnePro, which provides protection for specific risks facing accountants and consultants, including expense reimbursement, pre-claim assistance, network security and privacy protection, discrimination complaints, disciplinary regulatory coverage and other professional services.
A variety of risk management services are available for customers with policies through the program, including a loss control hotline, webinars, website and material reviews and best practices and engagement letters.
