Domino's, three others moving into former Pelletier facility

Google Old Pelletier building supply site in Fitchburg is being reborn as a retail development.

The former Pelletier's Building Supply on Water Street in Fitchburg is finding new use in retail.

Auburn-based Galaxy Development is raising a 7,900-square-foot building at the same industrial site it developed a 10,000-square-foot Family Dollar earlier this year .

Both buildings at the long-vacant Pelletier's property will join Central Valley Plaza, which includes a Market Basket, Topps Liquor, Boost Fitness, Perfect Dental and T-Mobile.

Family Dollar was once located on the other side of the plaza, past the Market Basket.

One space in the building now being built will be a Domino's, but three other spaces are still for lease.

The Pelletier's site is being developed by Galaxy Development of Auburn, which bought the 2.5-acre site in 2015 for $500,000.

Galaxy is remaking the former Worcester Regional Transit Authority facility off Grove Street in Worcester into a 70,000-square-foot retail center. No tenants have yet been announced. Galaxy also owns the Pleasant Valley Crossing shopping center off Route 146 in Sutton, which it plans to expand later this year.
