Raytheon scientist inducted into Internet Hall of Fame

A Raytheon scientist has been inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame for designing email and IP routing technologies.

Raytheon BBN Technologies Chief Scientist Craig Partridge was honored at the Internet Society’s 2017 Induction Ceremony in Los Angeles.

Waltham-based Raytheon, with locations in Northborough and Marlborough announced Partridge’s accolade in a press release Tuesday.

Partridge is credited with developing the modern email routing system in 1986 and developed system architecture for high-speed routers still in use today.
