SCIEX appoints new president

Courtesy Inese Lowenstein is now president of Framingham life sciences technology firm SCIEX.

Life sciences analystics technology firm SCIEX announced last week the appointment of Inese Lowenstein as the Framingham-based company’s new president.

Lowenstein, an industry veteran, joined the company in 2016 as senior vice president of global sales and service. She replaced Jean-Paul Mangeolle, who is retiring. In her new role, Lowenstein will focus on accelerating innovation, SCIEX said.

Joe Fox, who was previously vice president of separations, is now senior vice president of global sales and service.

Prior to joining SCIEX, Lowenstein held roles at Boston researcher Merck and Billerica laboratory EMD Millipore.
