HMEA, a Franklin provider to those with developmental disabilities, has appointed three new members to its board of directors. VICTOR RIE of Worcester is a services renewal portfolio manager at CA Technologies in Framingham, who graduated with a bachelor in accounting and economics from Worcester State University. PATRICK GAUTHIER is the director of business operations for Maxim Healthcare Services and has a bachelor in business administration from Bryant University in Rhode Island. NAJELA CLEMENT of Framingham is a quality assurance specialist for Takeda Pharmeceuticals with 10 years of experience in the biopharmaceuticals industry.

DAVID H. SMITH is a new trustee at Anna Maria College in Paxton. The Millbury resident has more than 25 years of experience in financial and operational management and is the CEO and treasurer for the Washburn-Garfield Corp. He has a bachelor in accountancy and master in taxation from Bentley University. Anna Maria has also appointed three existing trustees to new positions. JOHN J. SPILLANE, a managing partner at the Worcester law firm Spillane & Spillane, is the new board chair. The Worcester resident is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Suffolk University Law School, and he chairs the Worcester Regional Research Bureau. Trustee KIMBERLY A. KENNEDY of Holden, the board's new vice chair, received her master in total quality management from Anna Maria. She is the COO at Bearingstar Insurance and assistant vice president at Arbella Insurance. Trustee JOANNE M. DION is the new board secretary. She is member of the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Anne, the founding order of Anna Maria College, and serves as province co-leader of the Sisters of Saint Anne in Marlborough.

JARON LARIVIERE is a new partner at the Westborough accounting firm Stowe & Degon. He is formerly a tax director at Pricewaterhouse-Coopers, where he worked for 14 years. He has a bachelor in business administration from Bryant College and a master in taxation from Bentley College.

KATHLEEN GAGNE is the new vice director and chief development officer at Mechanics Hall, and TRICIA SHEA is the new facilities director of the Worcester hall. Gagne, a Worcester resident and Anna Maria College graduate, began working at Mechanics Hall in 1994 as a part-time publicist. She is responsible for marketing, communications and fundraising, including for the hall's 160th Anniversary Campaign. Shea, a New Braintree resident, has more than 20 years of facilities experience, including more than 20 years as facility manager at Country Bank, where she was responsible for 21 bank properties.

ED GAY, JIM HOOGASIAN and KARA L. PICI have joined the Worcester office of the investment advisor firm Integrated Financial Partners of Waltham. Gay has worked in financial services for Fidelity Investments and Guardian Life Insurance Co., where he was the regional vice president for the Pacific Northwest. He has a bachelor in business administration from Framingham State University and lives in Walpole. Hoogasian has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, having previously worked at UMass Memorial Health Care as vice president for cancer services and research administration. The Shrewsbury resident has a master in biology and a master in business administration from Anna Maria College and a bachelor in biology from Clark University. The two new financial advisors have served more than $55 million of commissions and fee-based assets. Pici, the executive assistant to Gay and Hoogasian, is a Worcester resident with more than 12 years of experience in the administrative field.
