DR. JANA BALAS has joined Reliant Medical Group's Department of Podiatry. She is welcoming new patients at Reliant's offices on Gold Star Boulevard in Worcester. Balas earned her medical degree from Temple University and completed her residency at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.

JEFFREY CHIN of Shrewsbury, the CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest, has been named to the boards of directors of the United Way of Central Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Nonprofit Network.

JODIE GERULAITIS has been promoted to vice president of community relations at Country Bank. Gerulaitis, of West Brookfield, has been with Country Bank for 24 years in various positions. She is a local treasurer for The Salvation Army and serves on the councils of the West Brookfield and Stanley M. Koziol elementary schools.

CHRISTOPHER NUGENT is the new director of digital strategy for Definitive Healthcare, a Framingham healthcare data solutions startup. Nugent is the former senior marketing manager at Nuance Communications.

E4TheFuture, a Framingham clean energy solutions nonprofit, has five new members of its board of directors. They are DAVID W. CASH, dean of the John W. McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies at UMass Boston; JULIE FOX GORTE, senior vice president for sustainable investing, Pax World Management LLC; DAVID L. O'CONNOR, senior vice president for energy and clean technology, ML Strategies LLC; MARY STEWART, managing director/president, KSV; and NIDHI THAKAR, chief of strategy and external affairs for the president of the California Public Utilities Commission.

TRICIA IZZIO has joined McCurdy Group in Sturbridge as the morning receptionist. She began her career at Motorola Cellular Systems Group after graduating from the University of Arizona with a degree in operations management.

ERIN AMOLING is the new branch manager for Clinton Savings Bank's West Boylston location. She oversees sales and services for the branch and leads the bank's business development in the West Boylston area. Amoling lives in Leominster and is pursuing a bachelor in business administration.
