Price Chopper, Market 32 partner with Instacart in Hopkinton, Sutton

Market 32 in Sutton is among Central Massachusetts grocery stores to offer grocery delivery service through Instacart.

Price Chopper in Hopkinton and Market 32 in Sutton are one of several of the chain's stores to begin a partnership with grocery delivery service Instacart on Wednesday.

The Golub Corp., parent company of both stores, announced the new service Monday.

Instacart will replace the chain's Shops4U service immediately in the Sutton store, though Shops4U will operate through Saturday to honor all pending orders. Shops4U employees have been offered positions within their respective stores, the company said.

Instacart began serving residents in Worcester, Boylston, Berlin, Holden, Northborough, Grafton, Shrewsbury, Westborough, West Boylston, Auburn, Millbury, Marlborough and Southborough in September for shopping at Wegmans, PriceRite, CVS and Petco.

Last month, Springfield-based Big Y stores in Worcester, Holden, Spencer, Southbridge, Milford and Franklin joined the growing list of stores to partner with Instacart.
