Perkins hires director of research, innovation

Kathleen Savage Mills, a licensed independent clinical social worker with more than 20 years of professional experience, will lead program evaluation efforts at Lancaster human services agency Perkins.

Lancaster human services agency Perkins has hired Kathleen Savage Mills as its director of research and innovation, according to a statement from the organization issued last week.

Mills, a licensed independent clinical social worker who holds a doctoral degree, has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of child welfare, domestic violence and early childhood mental health. In her new role, Mills will expand Perkins' capability to evaluate programming and to translate outcomes into quality and service improvements, the organization said.

As a member of the executive team, Mills will support the institutional advancement and quality & performance improvement departments.
