Frank Carroll lists Main Street building for $4.8M

A 76,700-square-foot building on Main Street in Worcester owned by businessman Frank Carroll is for sale for $4.8 million.

The property, a five-story office building at 545 Main St., currently houses the Small Business Service Bureau, which Carroll still leads as CEO.

Also operated out of the building is Carroll Enterprises, a business-to-business insurance company run by the Carroll family.

Thomas Carroll, Frank’s brother and a real estate broker marketing the property, said via phone the family intends to consolidate the operations into an Austin Street building.

The building features a private U.S. Presidential Museum on the fifth floor, a second-floor cafeteria and retail space on the first floor.

The real estate listing also cites the $11-million Main Street Reimagined project set to completely renovate parts of Main Street, including by Carroll’s building.
