Marlborough plaza sells for $6.3M

Photo/Google A two-building property next to the Apex Center of New England has sold for $6.3 million to an investment company based in Dallas.

A commercial plaza on Route 20 in Marlborough has sold for $6.3 million to a Texas investment company.

The two-building plaza features a 99 Restaurant & Pub, Jersey Mike's Subs, Marlboro Wine & Spirit Co., Orangetheory Fitness and AFC Urgent Care.

The site was bought by CH Retail Fund II/Boston Marlborough Shops LLC, which is registered to the Dallas address of Crow Holdings Enterprise. The property was sold by Marlborough/Northborough Land Realty Trust and Gloria M. Gutierrez. The sale closed July 16.

The 6.5-acre site, which sits just to the east of the Apex Center of New England retail and office complex, includes more than 20,000 square feet of retail space. It was last assessed by the city for just under $3 million and last sold in 2000 when it was a vacant site for $273,033.
