Lundgren Honda owners propose 48Ksf office building on Shrewsbury Street

A developer plans to build a 48,000-square-foot office building at this Shrewsbury Street site.

A developer is proposing a 48,000-square-foot office building on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester at the site of the Digital Credit Union branch and British Beer Company.

Patrick Lundgren, co-owner of Lundgren Honda, is proposing to demolish a vacant 7,100-square-foot vacant industrial structure formerly used to house ambulances and build a four-story office building.

After that structure is demolished, the area will be paved for parking and the new building will be constructed and the new building will be constructed in the southwest corner of the site, according to project documents.

Access to the site will be via Shrewsbury Street and Albany Street.

225 Shrewsbury Street Realty LLC, a corporate entity owned by Barry Lundgren, purchased the property in January 2017 for $5.5 million.

Other tenants in the 33,000-square-foot building include InHouse Coffee and Gentle Dental.
