Flying Dreams to open Marlborough taproom Friday

Flying Dreams Brewing Co. is opening its taproom Friday in the Marlborough space vacated by a brewer that never got the chance to open.

The taproom takes the place of Walden Woods Brewing, which in June nixed its plan to open in the 277 Main St. space.

Flying Dreams will open the doors to the space at noon.

Dave Richardson, brewmaster and owner of the brewery, told WBJ in August of the brewery’s plans to open a satellite location at the space to serve as the company’s main taproom.

The brewery’s Park Avenue location in Worcester will still serve as the main production facility with a small tasting room that also offers bottle sales and growler fills.

Flying Dreams last month also began canning its beer after installing a canning line at the Park Avenue site, becoming one of the last brewers in the state to do so.
