French biopharmaceutical firm sells Marlborough property

LFB's Marlborough facility, seen under construction, has been sold to a developer that owns two adjacent sites.
The French biopharmaceutical firm LFB, with its U.S. headquarters in Framingham, has sold the property on which its Marlborough facility sits for $4.5 million.
The land for the 68,000 square-foot facility at 92 Crowley Drive was sold to developer John Delli Priscoli, the owner of Marlborough-based First Colony Development Co. Inc.
First Colony owns two adjacent parcels, the unbuilt-on 11-acre site at 90 Crowley Drive and a four-story, 100,000-square-foot office building at 100 Crowley Drive. That building, which is visible just off Route 85 at the Marlborough-Hudson line, landed Allegro MicroSystems, a maker of computer circuits, as a tenant after a move from its longtime home in Worcester.
Priscolli, who closed on the sale Dec. 24, could not be reached for comment.
LFB built a $37-million facility on the site in part to produce the drug ATryn, which is used to treat preeclampsia, a high blood pressure complication that can cause maternal and infant death.
LFB bought the site in 2015 for just under $2.6 million. The company did not return a message seeking comment on the sale.
