Goodnow Farms Chocolate of Sudbury put 500 pounds of its chocolate into a new stout made by Trillium Brewing.

Sudbury chocolate maker Goodnow Farms Chocolate has joined with popular craft brewer Trillium Brewing to make a chocolate stout and a special chocolate bar.

The offerings went on sale Tuesday at Trillium's breweries in Canton and the Fort Point neighborhood in Boston. The chocolate bar is being sold on Goodnow Farms' website and in select retailers where its chocolate is normally sold.

The limited-time stout, called Chocolate Goodness, was brewed with more than 500 pounds of Goodnow Farms chocolate. The stout is an imperial with 10.2-percent alcohol by volume. Trillium and Goodnow teamed up on limited-edition glasses and were sold out by Wednesday.

Goodnow made a single-origin chocolate bar featuring a Trillium imperial milk stout.
