The DoubleTree hotel in Milford has sold for nearly $21 million to a Lexington hospitality company.

Jamsan Hotel Management bought the hotel in a deal closed March 6, according to town property records. The 177-room hotel includes eight meeting rooms totaling 10,000 square feet of space.

Jamsan Hotel Management says it owns hotels across the Northeast. It has bought two hotels in Plymouth this year, adding to two it already owned in the town and another in adjacent Kingston, according to the Old Colony Memorial newspaper.

The hotel was last owned by Milford TBL Investment Group, a limited liability corporation based in Hanover, according to town records. One of the registered managers of Milford TBL is Glenn Gistis, CFO of the Linchris Hotel Corp. in Plymouth.

Linchris also sold DoubleTree in Rockland and a Hilton Garden Inn in Plymouth, according to the real estate news site GlobeSt.com.

The DoubleTree stands just off I-495 behind the Milford Crossing plaza, which underwent a $20-million overhaul leading to the openings in 2017 and 2018 of Stop & Shop, TJ Maxx, Homegoods, Starbucks, Chipotle, Red Heat Tavern and others.
