Duxbury convenience store chain buys Westminster gas station

VERC Enterprises has acquired this site in Westminster.

VERC Enterprises, a convenience and gasoline station operator headquartered in Duxbury, has acquired a new station in Westminster.

Off Route 2 in Westminster, the former Irving Station is the newest addition to VERC's growing list of locations in Eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire, now totaling 30. Its other Central Massachusetts locations are in Acton, Berlin, Boxborough, Marlborough, Fitchburg and Framingham.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Robin LaRoche and Megan Newcomb will serve as co-team leaders in Westerminster. All employees of the former Irving station will remain under the new ownership, said Leo Vercollone, CEO of VERC Enterprises, in a press release.

Gasoline pump upgrades are planned at the location, he said.

“Westminster is a wonderful town,” said Vercollone. “We’re excited to add it to our operations and look forward to serving the community for many years to come.”
