Whitinsville-based UniBank for Savings is asking the state Division of Banks for permission to open a new branch office in Milford.
The new office would be at 90 Prospect St. in Milford. UniBank filed notice of its intent with the division late last month. UniBank has branch offices in Whitinsville, Douglas, Grafton, Blackstone, Upton, Uxbridge and Sutton.
The bank has a loan office at 221 East Main St. in Milford.
