Wilde Acquires Cincinnati Packaging Firm

Holliston-based W.A. Wilde Co. has acquired G3 Packaging and Services Corp. of Cincinnati, Ohio and will move the merged company into Wilde's largest facility.

The new West Chester, Ohio facility will be 141,000 square feet and the number of Wilde's West Chester employees will double from 20 to 40. Wilde opened a Cincinnati office, its first outside Massachusetts, last year.

Wilde said the merger would result in a 30 percent increase in the company's Cincinnati-area business. Seventy percent of the country is within a 12-hour drive of Cincinnati, Wilde said.

Wilde is a 140-year-old, family owned direct marketing company that also handles distribution and mailing services for clients.
