Boxborough Firm Reports Solid 2008 Growth

Boxborough-based Crossbeam Systems Inc. said it saw 56 percent growth in 2008 compared to the previous year as the company signed 49 new clients and expanded at several existing clients.

The network security company said new clients in 2008 included Baylor University, Del Monte Foods, John Hancock, T-Mobile and others. Existing clients that expanded their use of Crossbeam's network security products included AT&T, Fujitsu, Cox Communications and others.

The privately-held company also opened offices in Japan and Brazil during the year and saw strong increases in business in China.
