06/26/09

The former home of the floral and gift retailer Barber Bros. in Natick has been sold for $3.4 million.

The property, located at 213 West Central St. (Route 135), is 26,000 square feet on just under 2 acres. The purchaser was Red Velour LLC. Logan R. Huffman is listed as an agent for the LLC, according to filings with the Secretary of the State.

Barber Bros. closed after the Christmas season last year.

Red Velour LLC has enlisted MetroWest Commercial Real Estate LLC to market the building's redevelopment. The property is zoned commercial.

Eric Brosler, principal of MetroWest Commercial, was the broker for Red Velour. Christopher Tosti of CB Richard Ellis represented the seller.
