The MathWorks, a Natick-based developer of mathematical computing software, has opened offices in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka, Japan.
The MathWorks Japan will be primarily responsible for selling to customers in the Japanese automotive, communications, electronics and other industries.
The company has more than 2,100 employees in 15 countries in Europe, Australia and Asia. The Japan offices will employ a total of about 120 people.
