Flex Time, Fridays Off Top Summer Wish Lists

Even though the weather so far this summer has been abysmal, the results of a recent OfficeTeam survey suggest that employees still enjoy a certain amount of flexibility this time of year.

The survey asked which "summer benefits" employees would most like to have and 38 percent of respondents said a flexible schedule topped their list. Another 32 percent said they'd like to be able to leave early on Fridays.

OfficeTeam, a temporary staffing agency focused on administrative positions, said flexible schedules and Fridays off allow workers to attend to family and other commitments without sacrificing work performance and is an inexpensive way to keep employees motivated.
