Morgan To Supply Chinese Firm With Steel Mill Equipment

Worcester-based Morgan Construction, a Siemens VAI business, has signed contracts totaling more than 10 million Euro for two steel rod outlets in China.
The contracts are with Zenith Steel in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, a privately-owned steelmaker that expects each new line to produce up to 150 tons of plain steel rod, rebar and other steel products per hour.
The rod outlets are expected to be shipped to China by the third quarter of next year. Morgan will provide site supervision and other services during the installation.
Morgan is a division of Siemens AG of Germany.
