Auburn VNA Adds Towns To Territory

11/30/09

The Auburn Visiting Nurse Association has expanded its territory to include Spencer and Webster.

Including the two new towns, the association now covers 14 communities, including Auburn, Charlton, Grafton, Holden, Leicester, Millbury, Oxford, Paxton, Shrewsbury, Sutton, West Boylston and Worcester.

The association was founded 90 years ago with one nurse who oversaw Auburn. It was previously known as the Auburn District Nursing Association.

For two consecutive years, the nonprofit health care provider has been named a "National Best Practice Agency" by Fazzi Associates, a national consulting firm based in Northampton. This year and last year, the association won Fazzi's "Patient Satisfaction Award of Distinction."
