SeaChange International Posts Lower Profits

SeaChange International of Acton posted a $1.3 million profit for 2009, a drop from the $10.0 million profit the company posted a year earlier.

Annual revenues were down about $100,000 to $201.7 million.

The company reported breaking even in the fourth quarter with revenues of $53 million. That's down $1 million from the same period a year ago.

The company creates video-on-demand television software products. It ended the year with $48.5 million in cash on hand and no debt.
