MWCC To Hold Grant Writing Workshops

Mount Wachusett Community College is holding two information sessions next week in Gardner and Devens to give advice on how to write grant applications for state workforce training funds.

The funds are administered by the state's executive office of labor and workforce development and can total up to $250,000 a year for companies.

The information sessions will take place on Sept. 8 at 9 a.m. at 444 Green St. in Gardner and again at noon at 27 Jackson Rd. on the same day.

The sessions will be sponsored by the Mount Wachusett Community College's division of workforce development, which has assisted local businesses in getting more than $2 million in workforce training funds during the past two years.
