Brit Minichiello transformed a COVID-era leap of faith into a thriving woman-owned healthcare consulting firm that achieved seven-figure revenue by year two.
As co-founder and managing partner of BEspoke Medical Affairs Solutions, she has built a 100% woman-powered company serving more than 18 global clients across 150+ projects in underfunded areas of healthcare, particularly women's health and precision medicine. Minichiello's expertise extends beyond medical affairs through her proprietary speaker training curriculum, developed in 2015, which has equipped more than 1,000 healthcare providers and corporate leaders with skills to communicate with clarity, confidence, and presence.
Her early entrepreneurial experience included owning a boutique fitness studio in Worcester and establishing the first Medical Affairs Center of Excellence at Marlborough public company Hologic. As administrator of Buy Nothing Grafton, she transformed a nearly inactive gift economy into a vibrant hub serving 5,000+ members. She founded and helps lead multiple parent and women-focused groups, including Grafton Moms of Littles and Grafton 4-H.
Working from home or the office? Home. I'm more introverted than people think, and it gives me the flexibility to lead a company while still being present for my family.
What should older generations understand about young professionals? We value results, innovation, and purpose over rigid structures. Flexibility and trust create stronger teams than traditional workplace models.
Best vacation you ever took? Any trip where we can live like locals. We often home exchange (swap our home for others), which lets my family really experience a place, not just visit it.
