The Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts announced the distribution of 23 grants last week totaling $433,640 from its general endowment funds and field of interest funds.
The foundation distributed grants to organizations that make a difference in the lives of area residents, according to a release. The organizations include the Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster, Montachusett Opportunity Council, Inc., Princeton Land Trust, and Mount Wachusett Community College.
Since its inception, the foundation has awarded nearly $48 million in grants and distributions from 185 funds that have been established by individuals, families and organizations.
