AAFCPAs Wealth Management, a financial planner in Westborough, has named two new co-directors of the firm.

Carmen Grinkis and Andrew Hammond are the new co-directors, taking over from founder Joel Aronson, the firm said. The change in leadership marks the first such change at AAFCPAs Wealth Management since it was formed in 2001.

“I have the utmost respect for my colleagues Carmen and Andy, both personally and professionally,” Aronson said in a statement. “They are sharp, energetic leaders committed to maintaining AAFCPAs’ unique culture, values, and service to our clients, and maintaining the objective of true independence."

Grinkins, who joined the firm in 2016, and Hammond, who joined in 2017, are both senior wealth advisors at the firm.

"They are both people of character who are proven advisors and will take our wealth management practice to the next level with custom financial plans that incorporate tax planning, investment management, insurance evaluation and planning, business consultation, and estate planning," Aronson said.

AAFCPAs Wealth Management, a registered investment advisor firm, is an affiliate of the auditing and tax consulting firm AAFCPAs in Westborough, Boston and Wellesley.
