Commerce Bank was presented with a plaque in recognition of its support for Working for Worcester, a social initiative that brings together college students, local businesses, nonprofits, government agencies and corporations to create recreation infrastructure and facilities at such entities as schools, parks and community centers.
The Hampton Inn Boston-Natick received the 2014 Accommodation Award from the MetroWest Work Opportunities Coalition for providing a welcoming environment for those with disabilities who are willing and able to work.
Radiation Therapy Services at Central Massachusetts Cancer Center earned accreditation from the American College of Radiology. To achieve accreditation, facilities are evaluated on management and patient care. The facility is located at the Harrington Hospital campus in Southbridge.
Bruce Weisberg, senior vice president and real property manager at Natick-based Middlesex Savings Bank, was recognized as a Community Bank Hero by Banker & Tradesman of Boston. Weisberg was honored for his volunteer work.
