Worcester semiconductor maker Allegro MicroSystems on July 26 released a new automotive sensor designed to aid power steering.
The sensor offers a variety of features and uses for the auto industry, including high reliability and broken ground-wire protection.
Founded in 1990, Allegro is headquartered in Worcester with global design, applications and sales centers, including in New Hampshire and the Philippines. It is a subsidiary of Japan-based Sanken Electric Co., Ltd.
