Yong Shing Restaurant in Auburn has been sold to Asian cuisine restaurateur Min Xia Li, who bought the eatery for $1.4 million, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds.

Li is the owner of Ming Du Restaurant in Stoughton, which she has owned for more than 20 years, and Koi Chinese Cuisine & Lounge in Attleborough.

Under Li’s ownership, the Auburn restaurant will include sushi on its menu, Li said in an interview. She is now training employees and awaiting inspection before opening the business.

The former Yong Shing Restaurant, which is located on 90 Auburn St., was owned by Michael Chao and Christine Lee, the registered sellers of the property. They could not be reached for comment.

The 13,500-square-foot restaurant is located across from Auburn High School near the ramp to I-290. With nearly an acre of land and 60 parking spaces, the property is assessed at $1.3 million by the Town of Auburn. It was last purchased in 2007 for $595,000.
