Pharmaceutical giant Bristol-Myers Squibb has hired an MIT and Boston University graduate as vice president and general manager of its $750 million Devens biologics manufacturing facility.
Christopher Perley will be responsible for supervision of the company’s Devens development, which is scheduled to become operational in 2011, and will have overall management responsibility for the site and facility once it is complete.
Before joining BMS, Perley was vice president for network strategy at Wyeth Biotech and held several positions at the Genetics Institute in Andover. Perley has master’s and bachelor’s degrees from MIT and an MBA from Boston University’s executive program.
