NextGen Realty, a Boston-based real estate and property management firm, has expanded its reach into Central Massachusetts by opening an office in Worcester.
Located at 16 Portland St., the office opened in late March and is an attempt by the firm to tap into growing real estate opportunities outside Greater Boston, according to a Friday press release from NextGen.
"We're incredibly excited to be opening in Worcester," said Demetrios Salpoglou, CEO of NextGen Realty and Boston Pads, an apartment and home listing website. "This new NextGen-West office supports our long-term vision of serving all corners of the commonwealth."
NextGen is handling listings for 560 residential units in the The Grid District, where its new Worcester office is located. The office is being led by Nextgen agent Kimberly Donovan.
Based in the Allston neighborhood of Boston, NextGen was founded in 2004, according to the company’s LinkedIn page.
