Building housing WBJ offices sold by former Worcester city councilor for $2.3M

Former Worcester City Councilor and recent city council candidate Phil Palmieri, along with a trust belonging to Robert Lawlis Jr., sold a Shrewsbury Street office building for $2.3 million to Worcester investors.

The building at 172 Shrewsbury St. is home to the Worcester Business Journal and Axe to Grind Barbershop & Supply Co., among other businesses. 

The building was sold to Parkside Holdings of Worcester in a transaction recorded on Oct. 6 according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.

Parkside Holdings is run by Thalita Nataly and Christopher Dernulc of Worcester. On Oct. 18 Nataly Dernulc sold a multifamily property at 3 Frederick St. in Worcester, which she bought in 2018 for $240,000, for $1 million, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.
