Entrepreneurship for All, a Lowell-based nonprofit which provides entrepreneurs aid through mentorship and classes, will be offering its year-long business accelerator program in Spanish for the first time in Central Massachusetts, starting in January.

The organization, which focuses on underserved communities, has been offering the online programs in English for two years to Greater Worcester for-profit and nonprofit businesses and has graduated three cohorts, with another one in progress.

The programs offer education in how to make a business plan, a budget, a marketing plan, accounting, and legal issues encountered when starting a business.

The organization offers programs in English in eight areas of Massachusetts, Longmont, Colorado; northwest Arkansas; Buffalo, New York; and Rhode Island; and in Spanish in four Massachusetts communities as well as Colorado, Arkansas, and Rhode Island.

Briana Azier of Bri’s Sweet Treats in Leicester is in EforAll’s current cohort and told WBJ the program has taught her how to narrow down her customer segment and focus her offerings, as well as best accounting and bookkeeping practices. With guidance from the program she is pursuing a wholesale license.

Miguelina Peralta-Bobrick, executive director of the Greater Worcester EforAll program said the online programs work well for people who are working another job or juggling other things in their lives while they launch their business.

The application deadline for the Spanish-language program is Oct. 27. The classes start on Jan. 9.
