Egenera opens India office

Egenera Inc. of Marlboro opened a new office in Bangalore, India, helping to expand the company's global presence. The office is the latest in a series of new Egenera offices in strategically-placed international locations.
Plans call for the new office to augment operations in the Asia Pacific region, where Egenera has offices in Wanchai, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, China. James Ryan, vice president of Asia Pacific Operations notes that "the time was right" for opening an office in India, and that the company will look to grow relationships with customers and partners, while expanding Egenera's global footprint.
Egenera is a software developer specializing in simplifying datacenter operations and infrastructure.
