Marlborough backup IT storage company ExaGrid announced Tuesday it would be hiring 40 additional inside and field sales staff worldwide following a strong first quarter of the year.
The company said it added more than 120 customers in the first quarter of the year, bringing the firm’s customer base to more than 3,000 with revenue growing 24% from the previous year’s first quarter. The private company said this not only represented record revenue, but it had experienced record bookings with 40% year-over-year growth in the quarter.
ExaGrid provides two-tiered backup service which, according to the company, expedites backup and restore performance with low-cost storage efficiency. The company also provides scale-out architecture related to appliance expansion.Â
