Family Health Center of Worcester awarded $50K for leadership training

The Family Health Center of Worcester was named 2021 Bank of America Neighborhood Champion for its community efforts while navigating the COVID-19 health crisis, according to a Monday announcement from the bank.

In addition to the award, the Family Health Center of Worcester will receive a $50,000 grant to provide the center with virtual leadership training delivered by experts in the nonprofit sector on topics like human capital management, increasing financial sustainability, and storytelling. 
 "We are pleased to have been named as a Neighborhood Champion. We look forward to using this funding to invest in the development of our workforce by building and retaining our leadership team through coaching and training opportunities,” said Louis Brady, president and CEO of Family Health Center of Worcester, in a written press release
