PSCWorcester, LLC, based in Baltimore, is proposing a 127,000-square-foot Extra Space Storage facility at 80 Barber Ave. in Worcester, according to a Worcester Planning Board public notice.

According to a letter submitted by Bohler Engineering of Southborough, the plans were initially approved in 2017, but the previously issued permits expired.

PSCWorcester, LLC purchased the two-acre lot near the Higgins Armory building on Sept. 6 for $800,000, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.

Banner Worcester Storage, LLC of Chicago, affiliated with Banner Real Estate Group, last purchased the property in 2017 for $1.5 million. The property is assessed by the city of Worcester for $1.8 million.
