Marlborough medical device and diagnostics manufacturer Hologic, Inc., will air its first consumer-facing television advertisement during the Super Bowl broadcast on Feb. 13, the company announced Thursday.
The commercial, created by a female-led strategic and creative team, is part of a larger campaign called Hologic Well-Woman. The campaign includes a dedicated website where people can learn more about the different types of diagnostic screenings, questions to ask their doctor, and a self-assessment to learn what tests are best for them, according to the release.
The 30-second national spot will focus on Hologic’s commitment to women's wellness through early detection and treatment. By showcasing the ad during the football game and the Olympics, Hologic intends to reach the widest audience possible.
In addition to the Super Bowl slot, Hologic will also air the campaign in 10 local markets from Feb. 13 through Feb. 20.
