Hopkinton biotech partners with San Francisco tech firm

Lykan Bioscience is a privately held cell-based therapies contract manufacturing services organization located in Hopkinton.
Lykan Bioscience, a Hopkinton manufacturer specializing in cell-based therapies, announced Thursday a partnership with San Francisco software company Vineti.
The partnership will provide advanced infrastructure to ensure life-saving cell therapies go through each step in the manufacturing supply chain, bringing patient safety to the forefront, according to the press release.
“Our strategic partnership with Vineti aims to enable our partners’ success with faster and simpler operations using a more robust and traceable control system,” said Lykan President and CEO Patrick Lucy, in the press release.
Vineti was co-founded by General Electric and the Mayo Clinic, and focuses on providing solutions to the delivery and commercialization methods of individualized therapies.
