The V-Go insulin treatment developed by Valeritas Inc. performed well in the latest study published in the official peer-reviewed journal of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE).

The V-Go is a wearable insulin delivery device that can be used by patients to deliver insulin at a continuous preset basal rate over a 24-hour period. It also provides for on-demand bolus dosing at mealtimes. The study found that when compared to multiple dose injection therapies, there was a significant decrease in A1C and the overall cost was significantly less than multiple daily injections of insulin.

Valeritas is a commercial-stage medical technology company headquartered in Bridgewater, New Jersey but with its research and development functions in Shrewsbury.
