XS Brokers, which calls itself one of the largest independent insurance broker firms in New England, has opened its fourth East Coast office in Worcester, it announced Thursday.
The Worcester location will allow the company to meet increasing demand for central New England, XS said. It has offices in Quincy, West Hartford, Conn., and Philadelphia in the Northeast.
XS, which is based in Quincy, added 14 new workers last year and said it plans to hire five to 10 people for the Worcester office.
