Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers in Framingham will not open its indoor beer hall this season, as it transitions away from its outdoor beer garden, the brewer announced on Monday.

In a message attributed to founders and brothers Jack, Sam and Eric Hendler, the company pointed to increasing coronavirus cases as the reason for keeping the beer hall closed.

“After many difficult conversations, and in light of rising cases in Massachusetts, we do not feel comfortable operating indoor dining,” the Hendlers said.

Jack’s Abby will continue to operate takeout service, instead, offering both beer and food.
