The Mount Royal Office Park, a 160,000-square-foot Marlborough facility, has been sold for $8.55 million to a Wakefield firm and will be renamed the Knowledge Park, as part of planned major renovations, according to the broker on the deal.
Wakefield-based CB Equities Mt Royal, LLC, plans major renovations for the property at Route 20 and I-495, including new exterior facade improvements, new signage, an updated fitness center with showers, common areas and club rooms.
The new owner will occupy a portion of the building and will lease out suites from 1,600 square feet to 20,000 square feet.
Current tenants include Lockheed Martin, Supply Force, Kuboteck Inc, Complete Technology Resources, Powell Electronics, Inc., and Verizon Wireless.
