Mayo Clinic helps Boston Scientific speed development

Marlborough-based Boston Scientific has partnered with Minnesota's Mayo Clinic.

Marlborough’s Boston Scientific has partnered with the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota to share intellectual property and stimulate the rapid development of medical devices to address unmet clinical needs.
The partnership has already brought together Boston Scientific engineers and Mayo Clinic physicians to develop new medical technologies in areas that include interventional cardiology, heart rhythm management, endoscopy, neuromodulation, urology and pelvic health. The collaboration allows for the sharing of ideas as well as intellectual property, according to a release from Boston Scientific.
The collaboration is being managed through Mayo Clinic Ventures.
