Worcester life sciences incubator Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives has awarded seven grants to local individuals and companies as part of its 2023 Challenge Grants program.

The grants in this year’s program went to awardees in the categories of Increasing Diversity in STEM, Workforce Challenge, and Empowering Minority Entrepreneurs in STEM. Grants amounts ranged from $23,500 to $50,000 and totaled $240,667.
