Metal Supermarkets is opening a new location in Auburn, marking its second location in Massachusetts, following its existing store in Boston.
The new store will be located at 7 C St. in Auburn and will be open five days a week, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the goal of being the premier metal supplier of small-quantity metal purchases serving the Worcester area.
Metal Supermarkets offers 8,000 shapes and grades of metal, tailored to customers’ specific needs. The variety the store offers aims to meet the needs of customers in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer categories.
Metal Supermarkets was first opened in 2014 and bought by local entrepreneur Stefan Hristov in 2020. Since then, he has grown the business and continues to do so with the new store in Auburn.
“We continue to be impressed with his drive and commitment and are confident Stefan and his team can deliver even more exceptional Metal Supermarkets service to metal users in the Worcester area,” said Stephen Schober, president and CEO of Metal Supermarkets.
Metal Supermarkets is a small-quantity metal supplier, serving the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom since 1985.
