Walker Magnetics Group Inc. has appointed RICHARD LONGO to the position of president and COO for worldwide company operations. Longo is a 12-year veteran of Walker Magnetics Group. In his most recent position as president for North American Operations, Longo helped coordinate the expansion of the company into China.
Lowell-based Enterprise Bank, which has branches in Fitchburg and Leominster, has elected JACK CLANCY, its current COO, to the post of CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2007. Current Chair and CEO, George Duncan, will continue as Chair of the Board and as a full-time employee. Clancy joined Enterprise in 1988 and has served in various leadership roles, including CFO, treasurer and CIO.
Westboro-based Envox Worldwide, has appointed TIMOTHY MOYNIHAN to the newly created position of vice president of global marketing and sales support. He will be responsible for all of the company’s marketing and sales support activities. Moynihan spent the last six years directing all of the marketing communications, product marketing, channel marketing and sales support activities for Intel Corp.’s media and signaling communications products.
PRISCILLA ELSASS has been named senior associate dean for the Graduate School of Management at Clark University. She will be responsible for academic affairs, student services, admissions, career services, and will oversee the Graduate Management Center in Framingham. She joined GSOM in 1990 and for the past six years served as associate dean. Elsass is an associate professor of management. Additionally, the GSOM has named ANDREA AIELLO as assistant dean, effective Sept. 1. She has served as director of program management and planning at GSOM for the past four years. Prior to joining Clark she held administrative positions at Becker College and Nichols College.
The Worcester law firm Mirick O’Connell has appointed two attorneys as associates with its Business and General Litigation Group. JOHN GRAFF was previously assistant director of Boston University’s Office of Judicial Affairs and Student Safety Programs. MICHAEL CHRISTY was an associate at the law firm of Bourgeois, Dresser, White & Beard in Worcester. He is licensed to practice law in Maryland, Massachusetts and Virginia.
Clark University has added the following professors to its faculty. MICHAEL BUTLER as assistant professor in the Government and International Relations Department, LENE JENSEN as associate professor in the Psychology Department, ELLEN FOLEY as assistant professor in the International Development, Community and Environment Department, NOEL LAZO as been assistant professor and Carlson Chair in Clark’s Chemistry Department. JUNFU ZHANG as assistant professor in the Economics Department and TIMOTHY DOWNS as assistant professor of environmental science and policy in Clark’s International Development Community and Environment Department.
EILEEN PROSE has joined Wayland-based Tourtellotte Solutions as director of sales. Previously, she was a senior account director and producer at Allen Roche Group, handling inside and outside sales and the management and production of corporate events, user conferences, trade shows and interactive and print campaigns. She also wrote commercial campaigns and implemented advertising initiatives while at Allen Roche Group. Prose has more than 27 years of experience in marketing, sales, management, and media.
Worcester-based printing and marketing services firm LaVigne Inc. has appointed DOUGLAS PRITTIE as vice president of operations. He will be responsible for the continuing improvement of the production process, and also for supporting LaVigne’s customers through development and deployment of emerging technology and advanced print communication systems. Prittie has 23 years of commercial and marketing print experience. Prior to joining LaVigne, he was vice president of operations for a number of plants under the Cenveo umbrella. He will lead the production teams at LaVigne and will report directly to the CEO.
Littleton-based Marathon Technologies Corp. has appointed KRISTEN ROBINSON as vice president of sales. She is the former managing director of TC Trust Center of GeoTrust Inc. in Hamburg, Germany. Previously, she served as vice president of client services of Evident Software in Saddle Brook, NJ. She also served in many capacities at Global Crossing Inc. including Sales General Manager of northern New England, Senior Director of Client Services and finally, Vice President of Client Services.
KENNETH CONTE, senior associate at Beals and Thomas, Inc., in Southboro has been named to the Land-Use 2025 Implementation Task Force for Smart-Growth Rhode Island. Conte was also recently named to the North Providence Land Trust Advisory Board. Conte has been with Beals and Thomas, Inc. for 21 years. TIMOTHY CHOREY has joined Beals and Thomas, Inc. as a field surveyor. He is a recent graduate of Colorado State University.
Westborough Bank has hired DEBRA SCANLON of Auburn as assistant vice president and credit officer of its commercial loan department. She has 13 years’ banking experience, and previously worked at Millbury National Bank and more recently at Savers Bank.
The Worcester-based Builders Association of Central Mass (BACM) has appointed CHRIS LUND as its new president. He will formally take his post as president on Nov. 1. Lund, a BACM member for more than five years, has won several awards including: Remodeler of the Years (2001), Builder of the Year (2003), Certified graduate remodeler (NAHR 2004).
